Event Coordinator

Reports To: Sr. Director, Event Management

Office Location: Raleigh, NC

Overall Scope of Responsibility:

This is an entry level role responsible assisting with the planning and execution of sporting events, including any preparations required for company participation. This role also assists with all activities associated with the expediting of our travel & hospitality events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This person must be able to support the event team on large and complex events that include multiple activities occurring in conjunction with a major sporting event
  • Must be able to multi-task and work on numerous projects of various scopes simultaneously
  • Managing budgets including reconciliation, documenting savings and variances to the budget, and forecasting are required
  • Maintain all event documentation including, program plans, staffing, rooming lists, gifting, transportation, signage, direct mail, itineraries and notes from weekly planning meetings
  • Creating and developing guest and client itineraries with hotel, transportation and other logistics
  • Working in a team-based environment to support the overall needs and goals of the company
  • Perform other special projects and duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Hospitality, Sports Management, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Prior experience in the sports industry is preferred
  • Possess a Guest Service Attitude
  • Experience managing people logistics for 150+ people on a regular basis
  • Extensive project management experience required
  • Must be articulate and have experience working well with all levels of management
  • Ability to do extensive overnight travel, some of it in large blocks of time (ex. 1-2 weeks at a time)
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Organization, customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of trends within the event and meetings industry
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Working in a team-based environment is critical
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule; this is not always a 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. position

Front-End Developer

Reports To: Technical Lead

Office Location: Atlanta, GA

Key Requirements:

  • Must be a creative thinker that is available to give 4 days a week in our fast-paced working environment, and bring enthusiasm, energy and initiative to the team.
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills as well as excellent organizational and time management skills are a must
  • Understanding of the sports and entertainment industry
  • Ability to interact with all levels of associates within the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous internship experience is a plus

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Proven attention to detail and ability to accurately estimate and deliver on time results
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of modern browser engines and effects on DOM and rendering
  • Proficient understanding of AJAX use cases and best practices
  • Proficient understanding of HTTP and CORS (Cross Origin Resource Sharing)
  • Proficient in JavaScript libraries and plugins such as JQuery and Modernizr
  • Proficient in understanding and debugging cross-browser compatibility issues

Product Specialist

Reports To: Sr. Director, Product Development

Office Location: Raleigh, NC

Overall Scope of Responsibility:

The Product team oversees creation, development, pricing structure, inventory management, and execution of products for sporting events as it specifically relates to travel, experiential services, operations, and hospitality events of PRIMESPORT’s partners and clients.

Role Description:

As a member of the Product Team, a Product Specialist in an entry level position that will focus on the development and overall management of a product’s life cycle for specific events and partnerships.  Products will include, but are not limited to, ticket packages, experiential events, travel packages, turnkey services and operations, and select hospitality events.  This position will constantly collaborate with the Event Team, Business Development, Event Production, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to ensure product expectations are met and desired profitability is achieved.  Extensive data extraction and analyzation will be crucial to this position’s weekly tasks.  A Product Specialist will also be expected and required to act in a support role for their team members as needed to accomplish the overall needs and goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and execute innovative products that meet the need of partners and clients as well as fit within the overall business model of the company as it relates to ticket inventory and overall contractual assets of PRIMESPORT’s partners
  • Identify, develop, and grow relationships with multiple vendors across the industry to obtain quotes, procure inventory, negotiate rates, execute contracts, and manage payment processes
  • Understand and achieve profitability goals as it relates to specific products and events by tracking costs, expenses, and managing multiple budget line items
  • Maintain continuous knowledge of events and partnerships to recognize market trends, identify competitors, and develop calculated pricing strategies
  • Gain an understanding of proprietary inventory management system to build and manage product offerings, maintain web content, and help collaborate on e-commerce strategies
  • Generate accurate analytics and data reports from software for purposes of inventory management and forecasting
  • Provide support to other members of the product team and the different business units throughout the company as needed to accomplish special projects and tasks as assigned. These support needs will include but are not limited to report, product builds, customer support services, and on-site event activation
  • Develop and provide exceptional customer service and professionalism when interacting with vendors, guests, partners, clients, and peers.
  • Work on site in event activation and operations as a lead manager and planner or in a support role as required
  • Identify, research, and assist with or resolve customer service issues

Requirements:

  • Positive, hardworking attitude and team first mentality who is not afraid to step up and lead when needed or fall in line as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Business, or related field is required
  • Work experience in equivalent field and knowledge of sports industry is preferred
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Multi-tasking, attention to detail, and workload prioritization will be critical
  • Above average technical skills as it relates to Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn multiple software platforms
  • Basic understanding of entrepreneurial and business tactics that results in taking initiative to present new ideas, improve processes, and identify gaps in the business
  • This position requires weekend, holiday, and after hours work as needed during peak times of the year
  • Position will likely require 10-20% travel throughout a calendar year

.Net Architect

Reports To: Technical Lead

Office Location: Atlanta, GA

Key Requirements:

  • Will work with the team to analyze, design, develop, deploy, and support web applications to meet business and technical requirements
  • Will work with Agile development teams and provide technical leadership and the direction for the interfaces between the subsystems and between the solution and the solution context
  • Will participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives
  • Will write complex SQL queries and develop Stored Procedures and functions
  • Will work independently with minimal support from Lead and other team members
  • Will perform code reviews, do unit testing, and ensure that the software is high quality and maintainable
  • Will run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas of improvement, and general debugging
  • Will cultivate and disseminate knowledge of development best practices
  • Will gather statistics, prepare, and write reports on the status of the programming process for discussion with management and / or team members
  • Will consistently demonstrate good judgment in technical decision making and explicitly convey the rationale and trade-offs that contributed to the solution
  • Will have experience in a wide array of technologies and have strong leadership skills
  • Will be a mentor to the other developers

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Proven attention to detail and ability to accurately estimate and deliver on time results
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Technical/Solutions Architect
  • Minimum 5 years’ project experience in delivery of enterprise systems with an emphasis on globally available applications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in architecting HA, HS and HP systems
  • Strong experience with .Net Framework 4.5, C#, ASP.Net with Ajax, JavaScript, Web Services, XML / XSLT, DHTML, JQuery, WSE 3.0, ASP.Net MVC 5, Windows .Net
  • Prior experience in Architecture reviews & analysis and working with design patterns like MVC, MVP, and MVVM
  • Strong experience as primary technical leader on successful large application deployments with the ability to manage resources and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing teams (5-10 people)
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft platform (IIS, .NET, Web Services, SQL Server, SharePoint, Windows Server, Clustering, Active Directory etc.)
  • Knowledge of application, database, system, and network design
  • Ability to analyze database schemas
  • Experience with public cloud, AWS or Azure a plus
  • Detailed knowledge of Agile design methodologies; experience creating design documentation, roadmaps, and coding standards
  • Ability to establish / revise / execute process changes to gain engineering efficiency as well as identify opportunities for improvement
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work with all parts of the organization
