Front-End Developer

Reports To: Technical Lead

Office Location: Atlanta, GA

Key Requirements:

  • Must be a creative thinker that is available to give 4 days a week in our fast-paced working environment, and bring enthusiasm, energy and initiative to the team.
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills as well as excellent organizational and time management skills are a must
  • Understanding of the sports and entertainment industry
  • Ability to interact with all levels of associates within the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous internship experience is a plus

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

  • Proven attention to detail and ability to accurately estimate and deliver on time results
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of modern browser engines and effects on DOM and rendering
  • Proficient understanding of AJAX use cases and best practices
  • Proficient understanding of HTTP and CORS (Cross Origin Resource Sharing)
  • Proficient in JavaScript libraries and plugins such as JQuery and Modernizr
  • Proficient in understanding and debugging cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as BitBucket, GitHub
  • Proficient in implementation, management, and best practices of responsive design
  • Good understanding of ASP.net/MVC 5, PHP, WordPress and NodeJS (AWS, NodeJS, unit testing, e-commerce experience a plus)
  • Good understanding of JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular, Backbone, ReactJS
  • Good understanding of JavaScript toolkits such as Gulp/Webpack and CSS pre-processors such as SASS and Stylus
  • Good understanding of edge caching technologies such as Varnish
  • Some experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience with unit testing, e-commerce, and object-oriented design patterns is a plus

Front-End Developer

Reports To: Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for delivering excellent browser-based user experiences on multiple websites, using CSHTML templates, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Will define and maintain the standards of excellence around the delivery of front-end code and experiences
  • Will be responsible for responsive views across multiple device sizes and types
  • Will provide guidance on front end architecture during project planning sessions
  • Will ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Will communicate about user experience with our Technology department as well as non-technical colleagues
  • Will troubleshoot, analyze, program, and implement modifications to existing systems
  • Will partner with back-end developers on creating best in class UI/UX designs for web applications
  • Will develop processes around testing and debugging layout and performance issues
  • Will stay ahead of the latest UI trends and browser features applicable to our users
  • Will translate business requirements to technical requirements and functional code

Product Specialist

Reports To: Sr. Director, Product Development

Office Location: Raleigh, NC

Overall Scope of Responsibility:

The Product team oversees creation, development, pricing structure, inventory management, and execution of products for sporting events as it specifically relates to travel, experiential services, operations, and hospitality events of PRIMESPORT’s partners and clients.

Role Description:

As a member of the Product Team, a Product Specialist in an entry level position that will focus on the development and overall management of a product’s life cycle for specific events and partnerships.  Products will include, but are not limited to, ticket packages, experiential events, travel packages, turnkey services and operations, and select hospitality events.  This position will constantly collaborate with the Event Team, Business Development, Event Production, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to ensure product expectations are met and desired profitability is achieved.  Extensive data extraction and analyzation will be crucial to this position’s weekly tasks.  A Product Specialist will also be expected and required to act in a support role for their team members as needed to accomplish the overall needs and goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and execute innovative products that meet the need of partners and clients as well as fit within the overall business model of the company as it relates to ticket inventory and overall contractual assets of PRIMESPORT’s partners
  • Identify, develop, and grow relationships with multiple vendors across the industry to obtain quotes, procure inventory, negotiate rates, execute contracts, and manage payment processes
  • Understand and achieve profitability goals as it relates to specific products and events by tracking costs, expenses, and managing multiple budget line items
  • Maintain continuous knowledge of events and partnerships to recognize market trends, identify competitors, and develop calculated pricing strategies
  • Gain an understanding of proprietary inventory management system to build and manage product offerings, maintain web content, and help collaborate on e-commerce strategies
  • Generate accurate analytics and data reports from software for purposes of inventory management and forecasting
  • Provide support to other members of the product team and the different business units throughout the company as needed to accomplish special projects and tasks as assigned. These support needs will include but are not limited to report, product builds, customer support services, and on-site event activation
  • Develop and provide exceptional customer service and professionalism when interacting with vendors, guests, partners, clients, and peers.
  • Work on site in event activation and operations as a lead manager and planner or in a support role as required
  • Identify, research, and assist with or resolve customer service issues

Requirements:

  • Positive, hardworking attitude and team first mentality who is not afraid to step up and lead when needed or fall in line as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Business, or related field is required
  • Work experience in equivalent field and knowledge of sports industry is preferred
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Multi-tasking, attention to detail, and workload prioritization will be critical
  • Above average technical skills as it relates to Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn multiple software platforms
  • Basic understanding of entrepreneurial and business tactics that results in taking initiative to present new ideas, improve processes, and identify gaps in the business
  • This position requires weekend, holiday, and after hours work as needed during peak times of the year
  • Position will likely require 10-20% travel throughout a calendar year
