Senior Manager, Digital Content & Websites

Reports To: VP of Digital Marketing

Office Location:  New York, NY

Overall Scope of Responsibility:

On Location Experiences is seeking a Senior Manager of Digital Content & Websites to define, create and manage the day to day operations including oversight of content, design, development, execution and implementation related to all the companies brands, events and corporate websites. This position, must have a passion for driving consumer engagement to targeted audiences through the lens of conversion. The ideal candidate must be able to develop and articulate a vision for our digital universe. He or she must be a creative, data-driven marketer who is passionate about sports and entertainment and thrives in a fast-paced, high performing organization.
 
The Senior Manager, will serve as the gatekeeper to the websites and be accountable for driving content and reach across all multi-media platforms (web, apps, blogs, social media etc.) to increase engagement and conversion. This position, along with the Marketing Leadership team, will devise the strategic direction, content development and implementation for all the company’s websites, including future web initiatives of the organization.
 
The Senior Manager will collaborate with marketing, product development, ticket operations and technology teams to build and facilitate on-sales through our ecommerce sites. Additionally, this role will work closely with official partners to maximize online presence through marketing assets. This position will need to demonstrate the ability to lead, communicate cross-functionally and interact with all levels of the organization.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage website content (imagery, copy, layouts and brand elements) and build maintain web pages for best user experience along with maximizing sites for lead capture, engagement and sales
  • Maintain brand consistency (design, voice, tone, etc.) throughout all creative deliverables on the company’s websites, in collaboration with marketing and product teams
  • Coordinate efforts in partnership with go to market strategies with marketing teams
  • Work with marketing to gather web metrics on engagement, performance and lead capture
  • Optimize and contribute to content management systems across the company’s digital landscape
  • Create and manage digital content lifecycle
  • Coordinate with SEO team on content and keywords strategy to optimize sites for search engine marketing
  • Oversee social media staff & agency to create content across platforms in line with brand marketing guidelines
  • Train internal teams to use website content management system
  • Coordinate with technology team on issues of hardware/ software affecting websites
  • Manage project deadlines and be flexible to shifting priorities as needed
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor content /activities of competitor websites


Requirements
:

  • 4 Year Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field
  • Proven 3-5 years of relevant work experience as digital website manager
  • Detail orientated with an editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how best to communicate it
  • Solid experience with online marketing tools and web-based technologies
  • Demonstrate experience with implementing digital marketing initiatives that will scale to support the requirements of a growing organization with multiple brands
  • Familiarity and proficiency with standard industry tools including Google Analytics and various CMS publishing platforms
  • Self-starter with the ability to shift gears frequently and gracefully
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Basic video editing and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a major plus

Senior Marketing Manager, CRM & Email

Overall Scope of Responsibility:

On Location Experiences is seeking a Senior Email Marketing Manager to build the vision and strategy for customer acquisition and retention across all professional and college sports brands, taking full ownership of its success. The Senior Manager will own the company’s email communications and develop marketing strategies and distribution techniques in order to execute campaigns that successfully engage and convert consumers, ultimately drive profitability.

This position demands a passion for driving consumer engagement to targeted audiences through the lens of conversion. The ideal candidate must be able to develop and articulate a vision for lifecycle marketing and data analysis. He or she must be a creative, data-driven marketer who is passionate about sports and entertainment and thrives in a fast-paced, high performing organization.

The Senior Manager will collaborate with marketing, sales, product development, ticket operations and technology teams. This position will need to demonstrate the ability to lead, communicate cross-functionally and interact with all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own all email marketing planning, execution and optimization, including prospecting, conversion, lifecycle, and cross-sell communications
  • Develop contact strategies to target the appropriate new consumers and develop audience bases that are optimized for retention
  • Partner with brand marketing managers and creative designers to develop, manage and optimize email content (imagery, copy, layouts and brand elements) to maximize lead capture, engagement and sales
  • Maintain brand consistency (design, voice, tone, etc.) throughout all creative deliverables on the company’s emails, in collaboration with marketing and product teams
  • Continuously test and optimize all email components (design, copy, targeting, lists, cadence, etc), through a test/control approach by designing and implementing comprehensive, measurable testing strategies
  • Assist in defining on-page optimization and landing page requirements to maximize ROI on all email acquisition, engagement, retention, and reacquisition efforts
  • Identify execution best practices and build editorial calendars based on effective campaign timing
  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes
  • Responsible for targeting and delivery leading to flawless execution at scale
  • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing productivity of our email sends
  • Work closely with ESP/ISPs to monitor and ensure high inbox delivery rates
  • Track and optimize deliverability, whitelisting, and IP reputation
  • Maintain opt-out lists and ensure CAN-SPAM (US), GDPR (EU) compliance
  • Design and produce channel-level performance reports that detail KPIs, results, and summary of strategy based on data
  • In conjunction with IT department, identify and fix any technical issues
  • Manage project deadlines and be flexible to shifting priorities as needed
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor competitive activity


Requirements
:

On Location Experiences is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing branding, marketing initiatives and media campaigns for the company’s golf and tennis events. This candidate will ensure consistent brand passion, positioning and messaging across all marketing channels and work to drive sales for all upcoming events.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside marketing executives, product, event and sales team to develop marketing priorities, tactics and results
  • Manage day to day marketing programs to drive ticket sales and renewal campaigns, including development of messaging, campaign creative, strategic alliances and go to market communication
  • Develop and manage multi-channel, segmented campaigns that utilize owned and paid media to drive leads, opportunities and sales growth for all business

The Social Media Coordinator defines, creates and manages engaging social media campaigns in support of company, events, and initiatives on all social media channels. This person must have a passion for driving consumer engagement and loyalty though social channels. This person will create relevant and targeted campaigns to increase reach, engagement, and conversion across social media channels. The ideal candidate will be a creative, data-driven marketer who is passionate about sports and entertainment, and who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an agency to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across all brands in the On Location Experiences family. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Creating/updating a social media playbook for each brand
    • Developing a meaningful content strategy and working with creative team to bring this vision to life
    • Maintaining a social media content calendar
    • Ensuring brand voice consistency across all messaging
    • Managing guest services response protocol, FAQs and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
    • Monitoring & reporting on channel engagement, growth and areas of improvement
    • Analyzing industry trends to ensure channels continued optimization
  • Manage and oversee sponsored ads and paid media campaigns on social media channels
    • Develop a testing strategy to continually optimize social performance
    • Work with partners to develop and execute social campaigns through their social media sites
  • Serve as the primary advocate and driver of all social media initiatives within the company
    • Identifying new opportunities and platforms to leverage

Requirements
:

  • Four-year degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related area of study
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Social Media role
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, Snapchat, Youtube, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, analytical, organized, detail and deadline-oriented individual

Reports To: Technical Lead

Key Requirements:

  • Will work with the team to analyze, design, develop, deploy, and support web applications to meet business and technical requirements

The marketing intern will work closely with the team on the promotion of upcoming events and experiences.
