NCAA Women's College World Series History

The Women's College World Series dates back to 1982 when UCLA won their first of 12 total championships, including three of the first four championships contested. The format of the championship consists of two, four-team double-elimination brackets. The bracket winners then face off in a best-of-three championship series. The UCLA Bruins are the defending champions after defeating the Oklahoma Sooners in a memorable championship series.
